I am Idongesit Udoh Bassey. Born and raised in Nigeria for some years, completed a secondary school education in New York, obtained a bachelors degree in Nursing from Hunter College of the City University of New York, and Masters and Doctorate degrees in nursing from Columbia University, New York.
I have always been passionate about Nigeria, and I have longed for the opportunity to have a voice, inspire, and make a difference. I have waited long enough, and I have decided to seize this blogging opportunity and start my journey.
My professional background is healthcare, but I will also discuss education, politics, and the myriad of challenges that Nigeria faces at the moment. I look forward to thoughtful discussions, and the opportunity for us to learn from each other as we begin to take steps to a greater Nigeria.
